Ludacris in The Courtroom

In recent news rapper Ludacris is filling a lawsuit against a couple in Texas by the names of Demetri and Donna Evans. The two had been using the catch phrase "Disturb tha peace" while marketing their recording business and audio equipment. Ludacris states that he owns the copyright to that phrase since 2003.

Amateur rappers kidnap and extort music producer

The other day a pair of upcoming rappers kidnapped their producer in New York City. Ryan Mixon and Andres Lozano had scheduled a meeting with their producer John Fontein. They met at the Pera Soho in Greenwich Village thursday night. Fontein tried to back out of a $50,000 deal when the two rappers kidnapped him at gunpoint. The two took him to the Apple Store located at Fifth Ave and was forced to buy $3,800 worth of products, and told him he better accept the deal or they would kill his girlfriend and family. After finally letting him go, Fontein went to the cops and the two rappers are being charged with kidnapping, extortion and robbery.
